First I don’t think it is sinful to get a tatoo, Depending on what the subject is of the tatoo and the reason you are getting one.
I believe ghosts are actually demon’s sent to decieve people and open the door for Satan to send in more spirits to take over a person and keep them from leaning on Jesus.
I think suicide is the ultimate sin, You were giving the greatest gift God could give you and to take it or change it is to me, like a slap in the face to God. Like saying what God did wasn’t good enough.
Anyway, Those are just my humble opinions.

    Toby,
Thanks for the podcast today. I enjoyed the viewpoints on getting a tatoo, especially the comments that anything we do that distracts us from God could be considered a sin. I also appreciated your comments and the Word of God on spirits in this world.
I also want to thank you for your prayers and understanding of my personal family tragedy over a year ago. I know many believers will hopefully come to the realization themselves that when God forgives us of our sins it is for all past, present and future sins. Thanks you for reminding us all and thank you for responding to my email as part of this Q&A.

    Hey Laurie,
Thanks for taking the time out to register and post. Something I’ve really hoped for since I started all of this is that people wouldn’t be afraid to engage in dialogue regarding the issues we discuss. So thanks for taking part 🙂
I’m not sure that I would consider suicide to be more sinful than something like an abortion…or the actions of certain Nazi doctors and scientists in WWII Nazi concentration camps. I honestly do believe, however, that the Christian who committs suicide is forgiven (although there may be a loss of certain rewards…but that in itself is an entire lesson series), and that the sins of abortionists or unethical doctors and scientists can be forgiven as well if they are willing to recognize their actions as sinful and turn from those actions accordingly.
God bless you and thank you for your post!

    Hey Dusten,
Thanks again for sending that question in. It’s a good question…and I hope I was able to give a Biblically-sound response.
    God bless you, brother!

    Hi Toby,

Thanks for the Q&A Podcast. My husband and I got cross tatoos 2 years ago for our anniversary to represent how we would not be together today if it weren’t for the grace of God and it has given us to great opportunities to witness to others.

I did have an additional question to the comments you had made on suicide. I do like how you pointed out that no sin is great enough to break the “seal of the Holy Spirit”. I had never thought of it that way. However, and I know this is splitting hairs, but what if someone kills themselves to get to heaven sooner? Is it just that they will not recieve all the rewards that were due to them because they did not finish the work God had intended on earth? And this leads into another question are there levels or different rewards for different people in heaven and where can we find this in the Bible?

    Thank you Toby.

    In Christ,
    Judy

Great podcast once again, I would be interested in having lessons on how to interpret the bible. I think that would be a great idea. Thanks again!
